me and my guitar.
I used to have a dream of having my own band.
with me as the lead guitarist.
I also love to sing, but my honest opinion of myself said that my voice isn’t that outstanding.
There weren’t many girls who can play guitar and sing at that time as compared to now.
So yeah, I did consider to choose singing or playing music as a career.
I had a few memories singing at the Beach club Danga bay and Jazz corner in JB with my bro’s band. Also some performances for school and family events.
I was quite a bright student in school, front class, a prefect, queens guide etc, so i guessed entertainment industry isn’t for me. I’ll just play music for fun, I decided.
Thinking back now, I am glad I didn’t choose that path. Can’t imagine what would I’ve become if I did pursue music full time. Its not what I wanted after all.
I still do love singing and playing guitar but I only do it a few times over the weekends or to freshen up my mind after a long and tiring day. and yea I only do it with a bunch of girl friends and family. =))
I think that there’s nothing wrong in doing something that you like as long as you do it in the right way, and as long as you don’t let yourself drown in it. its only an opinion, correct me if I’m wrong.
P/s: Fyi, the idea of writing this post aroused after reading a status of a friend in FB. hehe
